The video does not appear to have violated Youtube’s policies.

On December 13, 2022 the documentary “Anecdotals” was released on Youtube. Within ours the video was said to be blocked by Youtube for violating their “medical misinformation policy”. The makers of the video claim the documentary was banned for political reasons and that the video does not include any misinformation. According to the makers of the video, the video discusses the issues with people whom appear to have been harmed by the mRNA vaccines. The video claims that the people who have been injured by the vaccines are not being allowed to discuss the issue and that not enough attention is being paid to the potential problem. In addition, they claim that they are not being compensated for their injuries.

The video was posted on Youtube on December 13, 2022 the primer of Anecdotals was released on Youtube.

The video discusses and reveals people whom claim to have had adverse reactions to the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. It references VAERS as evidence that there are many adverse reactions that has occurred. The reference refer to a website knows as Openvaers to retrieve VAERS published information regarding the vaccines adverse reactions.

There have been claims by Wikipedia and others that Openvaers is a misinformation site.

The makers of the mRNA vaccines admit that some people will have adverse reactions. They are not posting how many on their websites but merely admit there are adverse reactions in “some cases”. Below is a list of adverse reactions admitted by the companies.

“December 14, 2020, through December 14, 2022. During this time, VAERS received 18,007 preliminary reports of death (0.0027%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine. CDC and FDA clinicians review reports of death to VAERS including death certificates, autopsy, and medical records. Continued monitoring has identified nine deaths causally associated with J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccination. CDC and FDA continue to review reports of death following COVID-19 vaccination and update information as it becomes available.”

The central claim of the video is that information about adverse reactions to the mRNA vaccines are being suppressed. Below is the tagline placed above the video.

“A compassionate exploration of the nuanced vaccine debate.
While the vaccine debate grows more divided, those with adverse reactions get stuck in the middle.”

Youtube banned the documentary within 24 hours of it being posted on the platform.

Youtube’s medical misinformation policies can be reviewed at the embedded website.

The author of this post is unable to find a violation of Youtube’s “medical misinformation policies”. All the people in the video appear to have been injured or become sick after taking the vaccine. There is no information available demonstrating that the people in the video are actors or are lying about their current health conditions. There are opinions expressed by medical doctors that infer that the vaccines are not working as stated and intended. These people are still practicing as medical doctors and have not been suspended for their opinions. Opinions are allowed in science and should be allowed because without the expression of different opinions in the medical community, science would face the risk of mistakes and oversights occurring that could bring harm to people or inhibit progress of various science disciplines. The author could not find a policy (Youtube) stating that licensed medical doctors are not allowed to have various and opposing opinions. Further, all the people in the documentary whom claim to have been injured by the vaccine cannot be labeled as “Anti’vaxxers” because they got the vaccine and only spoke out after the believed they became sick as a result. The author would appreciate any help the community can offer in regards to the precise policy violation that Youtube claims took place. It is the finding of this author that the video was banned for reasons NOT listed on the Youtube “medical misinformation policy” pages because there seems to be no lies told in the video but rather medical opinions by doctors as well as undisputed claims by people who believe they have become injured by the vaccines.
